Talk about an intense, in-your-face, hard-nosed, take no prisoners, crazy ass game that felt like an NCAA regional final. The ref's tried f'ing us hard core just. JJ played about 10 mins as they called 2 touch fouls on him (he was dumb on 2 others), and our only other post right now, Bade almost fouled out. We played 4 guards (Kramer, Barlow, Grant, Moore) and Hummel for probably 1/3 of the game. I can't believe we almost redshirted Barlow (before LewJack was hurt, so not that crazy). The dude is a player. His passes were asweome. Might want to work on those free tosses though.....almost cost us the damn game.

I'm not sure how many saw it but Kramer made one of the more impressive defensive plays I've ever seen. He done at half court trying to knock the ball away fro ma guard he was trailing. He slid about 7 feet and then in sliding stride....literally swam another 10' feet and slapped the ball off of Tenn's player, the whole time while trailing the guy. I hope ESPN or BTN shows it again. It was sweet.

E'Twaun deservedly got MVP. Made so many big shots over the course of the 3 days.

My heart was racing on the last possession after Barlow choked at the line. Why did that idiot Chism take a 3 when he didn't have to?

What a gutty, gutty win. It's games like this that we didn't win last year. I feel really damn good about Purdue hoops right now.

Yea, big win for early in the season. When those freshman get more comfortable Boilers will have a lot of weapons. That was a good experience for them for sure. It was a rough game and the refs just refused to let them play it out. Good to know we can still beat a team like Tenn when Johnson barely plays or makes a big impact. I agree Barlow is tough and is only going to get better. I would have like to see a little different ending (those last seconds shots will start to fall in a couple of months) with some made free throws by Barlow. But a win is a win and I'll take it. I am also very excited for the season and look forward to watching this team progress as they play more games. This team has some real potential for sure this year and next. I think there will be games where we will miss LewJack, but I think we can be successful without him.

Nope, not at all. I watched SC last night since I was buzzing from the game and watched Wisc-Arz. They didn't show it once. Instead they chose to show the early-game dunk over Kramer (Tyler Smith, maybe?) and his "look at me" growl afterwards. Way to go mothership! We don't see thjat 8 million times a week from you already in the NBA highlights, do we?

I'm failing to see why this is a great play. I like the hustle, the slide is cool but if he knocked the ball away why would Purdue get the ball?

Hard to see on the clip, but he actually knocks it off the other Vol player before going out of bounds. Nice hustle play by Kramer....I can't remember, before this play Kramer either misses a layup, gets stuffed or throws an errant pass....something not so good as to why he is going balls out

Yea, after the swat by Kramer it bounces off a Tenn limb, I think a knee. Purdue ball. Tough to see in that video of a tv shot.

I see now. Then it makes sense why Kramer hopped up and knew they had possession. That was a Matrix style play though. You should not be able to make ground on a player while sliding. Awesome.

Purdue is good at basketball; I'm somewhat surprised they looked that good. Against premiere teams with superior athleticism in the past, they've crumbled. Apparently not this time, and good for them.

As GR would say.....Chug chug chug....choo choo!! The Train keeps on rollin'! Come to think of it, a powerful train is pretty hard to stop. Good win vs. Wake Forest last night. Hopefully the Big Ten can pull off a win this year so Vitale can't talk about how dominate the ACC is this year.
